| I'm so burnt out on school. I don't think I'm going to be able to graduate in May and keep my sanity. Last night, to celebrate the beginning of my fall break, David and I ate at Healthy Spice (our FABulous newfavoritething) and then did facials and watched scary movies and ate Mike & Ikes. It was great, but I need some more of that kind of stuff. And less of the school and work kind of stuff. I need a vacation. I'll probably see some of you hometown folk in the next couple days. (Aaron, this should apply to you.) Peace out, players. | | |

| Walking across campus today I, as always, was catching little snippets of conversations as they floated past my ears when I heard a girl use the phrase "free time." And I had to laugh because if anything is free, it sure isn't time. "Time is precious. Time is fleeting. And it's speeding up like a motherf*#$er! Accelerando!" Time is the most precious commodity I know, a second of it worth infinitely more than a pound of platinum.Oh yeah, if you happen to have a little extra time in your pocket, spend it on the movie Junebug; at only 107 minutes, it's quite a bargain. | | |
| I have a really hard time keeping my own secrets. Anytime I have one, it's like I'm just itching to tell someone. Today, though, I have a secret. And it's a good one. In fact, all day, every time the thought enters my mind, this uncontrollable force goes to work on my lips, and I cannot stop smiling.
I think I'll go running at the Arboretum to funnel some of this crazy energy. Afterwards, I'll probably go to work and tell David about my night last night. I mean, honestly, I've got to tell somebody. | | |
| I got my notice in the mail today reminding me to apply for graduation before November. Isn't that insane? It hasn't really set in yet. Also, I'll be twenty-one in about a week. More insanity. On a completely unrelated note, there are a lot of girls' names songs out there, and a lot of them are names of other girlfriends/wives of (now ex) boyfriends of mine. I guess it was always kind of funny, in that whole "I'm such the other woman" kind of way. Although, there was a time when it seemed like I heard Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon" every single day of my life, and it kind of got under my skin. | | |
